Liverpool is having a great time in the current season as for now they are on top with 73 points, while Manchester City is second with 51 points. After many unsuccessful years in England, the current season seems to be an unforgettable one for Liverpool if they manage to maintain their momentum. Liverpool is currently the absolute favorites to win the Premier League for the first time in the history of the club. Like the good old times, “The Reds” are determined to make history once again; and as stated by Billy Hogan, Liverpool’s managing director, and chief commercial officer, their kit certainly plays a big part in their rich history.

Liverpool Kit 2020 Changes

“Our iconic kit is a key part of our history and identity,” said Hogan.

“We welcome Nike into the LFC family as our new official kit supplier and expect them to be an incredible partner for the club, both at home and globally as we continue to expand our fan base.”

“As a brand, Nike reflects our ambitions for growth, and we look forward to working with them to bring fans new and exciting products.”

“We’d like to thank New Balance for their support over the last few years and wish them well for the future”

Liverpool’s deal with New Balance expires in May 2020. Under the terms of this deal, New Balance was entitled to renew its’ sponsorship if it matched the terms of the offers made by rival jersey manufacturers; nevertheless, the company could not match what Nike can offer in marketing the club’s shirts.

Hearing about brands and numbers might be exciting; however, beginning June 1, 2020, this will be the first time in Liverpool’s history that the club comes to an agreement with Nike to supply their kits. Therefore, the new deal brings up the important question to Liverpool fans that how do Liverpool’s 2020-21 season kits look like. Time to take a look at the rumors and leaked news.
